What do these counts mean?

Players online counts connected adventurers in the world, across every zone and private dungeon on The Listening Wood realm. Character-selection screens, reserved reconnect places and website visitors do not count. Each account is counted once.

The 24-hour peak is the highest recorded number of players online at the same time over the previous 24 hours. It is a rolling window, not a daily total or the realm’s 500-player admission limit.

A little more about the realm

The first alpha realm is hosted in Oregon, in western North America. You can choose either starting land and still adventure on the same realm.

Counts refresh every 15 seconds while this page is visible. If the server cannot be reached, the page shows that status rather than a misleading zero. Partial history is labelled until a full day of observations is available.

The game is in very early alpha. Expect occasional maintenance, changing balance and continued improvements.
